Description

New markets and new opportunities for you

Opportunities for small businesses are opening up as never before in the London 2012 and Public Sector Supply chains. However buyers are still concerned about the resources and capability of small businesses to deliver.

Main Points

Forming a new Partnership/Consortia may give you the additional edge or credibility you need to convince the buyer to place the contract with you.

Many contract opportunities listed on the CompeteFor website (a free service enabling businesses to compete for contract opportunities) have been won by new Partnerships and Consortia. To help you Business Link and the University of Creative Arts are running a FREE workshop for Creative and Digital businesses on Forming and Bidding as a Partnership/Consortia. You will leave the workshop knowing how to complete:

What you will learn

• How to form a partnership/consortium – the practicalities, the people needed
• Examples of successful collaborations
• Legal issues - corporate options, joint and several liability, practical tips and suggestions, cost implications
• People issues - pitfalls to avoid, success factors, tip & techniques
• How to put a joint bid together – roles, responsibilities, planning and logistics.

Don’t miss out.
Places are limited (one delegate per company).
